My best friend in Australia lost his son in a car accident in 2008.
His name was Michael. Michael used to like going to our local Buddhist temple regularly and loved the place and the people there.
When he died his parents decided to have him cremated and his ashes placed in the tower on the grounds.
Each year they have been allowed to go there and put a momento behind the glass cover where his ashes are. Not open the ashes box, just put something behind the glass cover.
Today a lady at the temple said that it's a Buddhist rule that you can't remove the glass.
Do you know if this is true?
