Based on the above results of the impact of various processing factors on antioxidant activity and oil yield as well as other factors including extraction rate and
potential operational cost, the recommended optimal extraction conditions for oil extraction from tomato seed are extraction time of 8 min, temperature of 25 ◦C, 5/1 (v/w) solvent-to-solid ratio, and particle size of 0.38 mm to achieve 20.32% oil yield.
