Administration and management
Administrative management of HVE stresses the efficiency and effectiveness of sustainable
operations. Current school administrative management practices differ from those adopted
previously. With the democratisation of organisation culture, schools encourage participation
and cooperation. Hong, Teng, and Baum (2009) noted that administrative leadership and
student management are deemed essential to the transformative process of a programme,
ultimately affecting the organisational culture and its overall quality. Administrative
management of a school refers to the support of the board of directors, leadership of the
principal, the administrative management, and organisational culture.
Cho and Schmelzer (2000) recommended that professionals adopt virtual classrooms for
lecturing purposes, thus advancing the learning opportunities for graduates of TH
programmes. Given technological advances, approaches and equipment can be innovated
continuously. Teaching competence, an effective learning environment, as well as excellent
teaching facilities and networks are of priority concern.
