1. Yes we should target to comply with the attached standards as these have been developed by and agreed with SEAC.
2. Looking at the procedures currently applied in both Minburi and Manila there are areas of non compliance as follows:
• Respirator protection is of lower standard and does not appear to be positive pressure (Manila only).
• Vacuum conveying does not appear to be used for transferring Catalyst from tower to the screen to minimise dust generation and spillage in either site.
• The degree of enclosure of the sieving area appears to be insufficient in both sites (it should be completely enclosed by scaffolding / sheeting not just barriered off, and have dust extraction with two stage filtration including HEPA)
There is no single approved global supplier who provides this service, most sites have appointed a local waste management contractor who can do this (and may also do the same for sulphuric acid industry).
A quick search on Google has found the attached links to a potential 3rd party who could do this in SEAA as they have offices in Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
