Mrs.Nntawan Sakuntanaga, Director-General of the Department of international Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce stated that Logistics process is considered as a key factor in driving international trade opportunities, especially in export sector, which is Thailand’s major revenue, accounting for 60 percent of GDP. This year, the Ministry has planned to accelerate the expansion of Thailand’s exports and put emphasis on cross-border trade with neighboring countries. As a result of ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 together with ASEAN+3 and ASEAN+6 cooperation, logistics capability development strategy for Thai entrepreneurs has to be accelerated to support a targeted international trade increased by 3.5 percent.
