The investigated factors significantly influenced some quality
parameters of tomato. Greenhouse environment improved the
TSS of the tomato (5.188 brix) as compared to outside
environment (4.648 brix). Soraya et al. (2001) reported that
variations in the concentration of dry matter and sugars in
tomato have been coupled with the conditions of climate and
root medium: these concentrations increase under high
temperature, CO2 concentration, high vapour pressure deficit
(VPD) or high nutrient concentration
