A popular restaurant in Monterey, California has stirred up controversy by banning strollers, high chairs, and children from crying or making loud noises.
This hasn't gone over well with some parent diners.
"I think it's ridiculous," Teresa Colombani, a tourist to the Monterey area told KSBW. "I think kids need to know how to behave in restaurants, and if you, don't take them to them, they don't know how to behave and they shouldn't be kept hidden away, so I think it's ridiculous. Kids should be allowed in restaurants."
The owner of Old Fisherman's Grotto says though people complain about the restrictions on children, it hasn't hurt business.
"Well, let's put it this way -- I haven't had a down year for over 20 years and our business continues to grow," restaurant owner Chris Shake told KSBW.
