d) ensure that its personnel are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives, and
e) maintain appropriate records of education, training, skills and experience
6.2.2.1 Product Design Skills
Currently this sub-clause doesn’t apply to BTA because of we no have product design activity. However if our customer needs this in the future then BTA will apply.
6.2.2.2 Training
BTA will set the system to identify training needs and achieving competence of all Workforces performing activities affecting product quality. Personnel performing specific assigned tasks shall be qualified on the basis of education, training, skill and /or experience.
6.2.2.3 Training on the job
Workforce in any new or modified job affecting product quality will be received on the job training. Personnel affecting quality will be informed about the consequences to the customer of non-conformity to quality requirements.
6.2.2.4 Workforce Motivation and empowerment
BTA shall have a method to motivation of workforces to achieve quality objectives and to make continual improvements. The process shall include promotion of quality and technological awareness on all levels. Process for measurement of workforce awareness in relevance and importance of their activities and understanding of quality objectives and their contribution shall be in place.
6.3 Infrastructure
BTA defines, provides and maintains the infrastructure needed to ensure the conformity of product through the planning process. Consideration of these factors is identified during the product and process planning stage, which include;
a) Building, work space and associated utility;
b) Process equipment, hardware and software;
c) Supporting services (such as transport or communication) or information system.
6.3.1 Plant, facility and equipment planning
BTA shall plan for facilities, equipments and other processes as parts of APQP when additional facilities, equipments, tooling and etc. are required.
APQP team shall be utilized and typically will include the representatives from Production Department (PDDP) & Facility Operation Center (FCOC). This team shall be reconsible for developing the plant layouts that minimize material handling, facilitate synchronous material flow, and maximize use of floor space.
