The main objective of this paper is the development of an
electrical microgrid, to provide optimal levels of power over a
time horizon. It is a typical optimization problem in which a
proposed objective function over a time horizon is minimized
subject to load and different constraints. Various numerical
optimization techniques [9]–[19] have been employed to solve
this problem. In [8], [20], linear programming models are
proposed in order to minimize the production cost of
electricity while fulfilling the load requirements.
