How do your children like college, Rob?
Rob:
Very much, thanks. Don is (carefully / extremely) ambitious. He sets high goals for himself. You know, he wants to be a pilot.
Jane:
Wow. That’s great. And the others?
Rob:
Well, Greg (fairly / really) likes college. He’s (early / very) outgoing. He works (early / well) in groups, but he thinks it’s difficult to work alone, and you have do that a lot in college.
Jane:
Well, it’s good that he likes school.
Rob:
And Ken is (pretty / slowly) curious. He likes to learn new things, so he loves school. He’s interested in many subjects, so he hasn’t decided what career he wants yet.
Jane:
That sounds like my son. And how’s Brandon doing?
Rob:
He’s doing OK. He doesn’t work (very / well) without direction, but if you tell him what to do, he does it (really / well). Ken and Brandon go to the same college, so they help each other.
Jane:
That's nice.
