The California menu offers breakfast, snack, lunch, fountain, and dinner items that are available at any time of the day. (See Exhibit 3.6.) Thus, if one patron wants hot cakes and sausage at 6:00 P.M. and another patron wants a steak, french fries, and a salad for breakfast, each is accommodated. This menu is typically printed on heavy, laminated paper so it does not soil easily. Many hotel room-service menus are based on this design as well.
