As results on the analysis of 39 foodstuffs by established method,soybeans and seed oils with different botanical origin contained atleast one PA determined. No PAs were observed in milk and mar-garine samples. The PA concentration levels ranged from 0.64 to1.46 ng/g for soybeans and 1.91 to 26.96 ng/g for seed oil. Heliotrineand echimidine were the most frequently detected at concen-trations from 12.55 to 26.96 ng/g. Echimidine were observed thehighest level in seed oil sample. In comparison with previous lit-erature [9,42], the levels of PAs in seed oils are almost equivalentto our results within same botanical origin. However, the levels ofPAs in soybeans were for the first time reported in this study andwill provide basic framework on the risk assessment of PAs
