The near-saturated hydraulic conductivity results for each
applied pressure head value, K(h), are reported in Table 6. The
hydraulic conductivity values were calculated when the steady
state conditions of water
flux were reached, with a time of steady
flow rate that increased as the applied pressure head decreased,
ranging between 1.0 (h =
1 cm) and 2.9 (h =
12 cm) h. This
allowed us to obtain sufficiently steady values for the matrix
potentials, which reached the condition of the unit hydraulic
gradient within the soil cores. Higher K(h) values were always
found in the unamended soil, while C10 had the lowest K(h) values
(Table 6). Under unsaturated conditions, there were greater
