We are a dairy farming of five in a rural southland, which is in the lower South island of New Zealand. We have three daughters, age 7 to 12, who attend the local school during the week and take part in after school activities. Our farm is only 3 kms away from the nearest township (school, sports clubs, supermarket, corner dairy etc) and 40 minutes drive to the city of Invercargill (45,000 people and all facilities available including airport). We might live rual but we are not far away from all the beauty that New Zealand has to offer; the sea is less than 30 minutes away,Fiordland National Park and the lakes only just over an hour's drive, the Queenstown ski-fields only 2 hours drive etc. As a family we enjoy social interactions,so we regular catch up with friends and family. In the school hoildays we like to spend time in our hoilday house in the sea-side town of Riverton. We always love meeting new people and making them feel welcome,so with the need to find someone to give us a hand in our busy family, we feel an au pair will be right fit for us.Due to her Doose Syndrome our eldest daughter requires some additional care. Therefore we are looking for a mature person, with a flexible, stable and positive character who's not afraid to step out of her comfort zone.
