The use of CHP/TEPA redox initiators for the graft copolymerization of MMA on NR particles has been reported to favorably create sites for grafting by the abstraction reaction over the addition to allylic double bonds at the water/particle interface [5], i.e. the reaction favors pathway (I) in Scheme 1. With respect to the modified rubber structure, the grafting and epoxidation sites were expected to occur randomly on the NR chains. For ENR, the randomness
