The study reveals hypersignal intensity on T1W, dark signal intensity on GR in superior sagittal sinus, right transverse sinus and right sigmoid sinus, and in the cortical veins along bilateral cerebral hemispheres. After contrast administration shows intraluminal filling defect in these dural venous sinus.
Small area of increased signal intensity on T2W at left parietal lobe and linear hyperintensity on FLAIR along cortical gyri of bilateral high formal lobe, cortical infarction can not be excluded.
Brain stem and cerebellum are normal. No shift of midline structures is seen. Ventricles are normal size. Cerebral sulci and cisterns are normal. No evidence of extra-axial lesion is seen. Pituitary gland and IAC appear unremarkable.
IMPRESSION; Dural venous sinus thrombosis in superior sagittal sinus, right transverse sinus and right sigmoid sinus, and in the cortical veins along bilateral cerebral hemispheres
