The present era could be characterized as a period of continuous acceleration of technological progress. Basic education in ICT is one of the key requirements every person must have to succeed. Modern means of communication have become an integral part of everyone's life. Despite their many risks, they make life easier, rewarding and improve the quality of our lives. Knowledge of ICT is one of the ways to improve the quality of life of the elderly, enabling them to do many things they desire. Finally, active work and learning new abilities also contribute to mental health. If senior citizens learn to use ICT well, it can lead to an improved sense of meaning in their lives. Senior citizens belong to a very specific group in terms of education that needs a special approach to teacher performance. It is necessary to help them not only to know, but understand what the individual ICT devices are, how to use them and how they can improve their lives. The aim of this article is to describe the situation of older people, referring to their interests or concerns in continuing their education in the field of ICT, and to answer questions as to whether senior citizens are interest in similarly oriented education, what their specific interests are and what conditions must be met for such education to produce results
