This study focused on how BRAC University is helping its students to develop their speaking skills. The main objective of this paper is to explore student’s understanding on their problems while speaking in English and their understanding of the ways which help them to develop this skill. The achievement of the objective will help the teachers to teach and the students to learn in a better way. To conduct the research, I will review the English language teaching policy of BRAC University, run a survey on students and interview teachers. Along with this I will interview some of the members of BRAC University English Committee” to know their initiatives. Based on my findings, I will offer some suggestions to improve spoken skills of BRAC University
