The problem of resterisation or
conversion of geometric shapes into their
raster representation is central to basic
computer graphics.
The longer time will be required to
refresh the raster image on the larger size
of a screen. It may create an undesirable
effect of flickering when some pixels start
to fade before they are refreshed.
To avoid it, either faster refresh rates
which require more expensive hardware
or a method called interlacing is to be
applied.
