For Group Project One you should create a group of 4 or 5 students and then choose any English-language novel or short story or novella (but not one from our textbook).
One student must then write a Summary of the plot (half a page); another student must choose 10 interesting words from that story and give the meaning of those words (for example: 'Brazilian' means 'coming from Brazil'); another student must write about the themes (important ideas) of the story (half a page); then every student in your group must write a personal opinion of that story - what is good or bad about the story; how can it help you in your life; what moral lessons does it teach you (one page from each student in your group).
When you write your Group Project One, please use the computer and print out your work. The cover page (top page) MUST contain the names of each student in your group and each student's number in class (for example, 'Number 12', 'Number 23') and student ID number.
Make sure you do not copy your work from the Internet or other places. You must use your own words - and be careful about grammar, as 10% of the score goes towards grammar!
