Graphene, due to the large surface area and excellent conductivity, plays an important role in graphene-pseudocapacitive material composites. In addition, due to a combination of the fast charging rate of supercapacitors and the high energy density of lithium ion batteries, novel hybrid supercapacitors have been widely developed [71–75]. In these assemblies, graphene was not only used as a positive electrode material, but also acted as an excellent conductive additive for composite electrodes.
