Good night Yuva.
Yes, weekends go by way too fast. They were okay when I was running between 25 and 35.
Since I worked most of those weekends, any day off was a good day away from work! Before
25 it always seemed to go by so fast. Running and playing hard. Weekends always seemed
short. I did spend a lot of my time enjoying life. Of course then I didn't think about life being
so short and having so much to live for. Although I have to admit I was a bit lethargic yesterday.
Brooke says I need to back off my workouts a bit. I'll have to keep them going for a while to see
if I need to back them off a but or not. I guess if I was still losing weight, I would give it more
thought. Her other suggestion was to start letting her make me a protein drink once a day. That
one I might let her do. Her working in a coffee shop may well have certain benefits after all.
Well it appears the edible insect industry, made up of mostly small farms, is beginning to help
the small farmers to earn a living and not become devastated by any drought periods. It is an
industry that doesn't have much of a market here in the west. But is very big in Asia, Africa and
Latin America. It made the news reports, so it must be a good thing. Especially for Thai family
farmers who have found a way to make a living regardless of the amount of rain that may or may
not come during the annual monsoon.
The other piece of news is Prayuth Chan-ocha has accepted a royal decree to certifying his
appointment to become the Prime Minister of Thailand. So it is now official. Of particular
interest is the General is not stepping down from his post as the supreme military commander. That
is a most interesting perspective. It means there is no longer an elected official running the
country but a military member who also runs the military. Stay tuned for more interesting considerations
from this unique match. I just hope he keeps to his word of doing what is best for the people of Thailand.
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think of you always.
