The dependences of SAW attenuation changes on applied electric
field for doped 6CHBT (Φ = 10−4) measured at zero magnetic field as
well as under magnetic field B=250 mT are illustrated in Fig. 4. It is
evident that also magnetic field due to the coupling of magnetic
moments can influence the reorientation of LC molecules so that the
following application of electric field had less effect on the acoustic
attenuation. The parallel magnetic field had the negligible influence on
acoustic attenuation.
