Quartz reports that MP Mauril Belanger has introduced a bill that would change the line "in all thy sons command" to "in all of us command." Before anybody starts griping about tradition, please note that the change would be closer to the lyrics originally written in 1908, which went "thou dost in us command" until 1913. There have been multiple attempts to make the change, and in fact the bill's supporters say an official rewrite would simply be keeping up with the times:
