Test data coming from
off-line measurements include manufacturer test data,
historical time-based routine test data, test data before
and after maintenance and those of the tests performed
after some unexpected incidents have occurred, for
example the test result of windings distortion after a
power transformer is stricken by large current by short
circuit. With the networked management, the
convenience to query the actual status of power
equipment is provided to the managers and at the same
time, all the historical data is available for the testing
personnel in field if they need. After tests have been
finished, results are inputted into the MIS and
immediately available to decision makers for
comprehensive analysis. With enough data accumulated,
tendency could be graphically plotted and the technique
condition of power equipment is explicitly
understandable. Compared with the conventional
judgment of thresholds, this synthetic method is more
effective and more indicative in revealing the real
technique status of power equipment.
