DSC measurements were carried out in a TA instrument, USA
(Model DSC Q100V 8.1) in the temperature range of 100 C to
200 C at a heating (scanning) rate of 10 C/min under nitrogen
atmosphere. The sample underwent a series of scans: first heating,
cooling and then second heating at the same rate of 10 C/min. The
degree of crystallinity of PP and EOC was determined from the second
heating curve by using the following relation
