Questions in the survey consisted of multiple choice and dichotomous series items.
The data were analyzed using Qualtrics and
SPSS version 19.0. Descriptive statistics were
used to describe demographic characteristics and display food safety knowledge mean
scores and standard deviations. Demographic
characteristics were represented as the independent variables and the total points of the
food safety knowledge score was listed as the
dependent variable. The mean scores among
various demographic variables were analyzed
using independent sample t -tests and analysis of variance.
