The antioxidant capacity (AC) of grape seed oil extracts was measured using the trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) assay, introduced by Miller et al., 1993 and Rice-Evans and Miller, 1994 and modified to a ready-to-use kit (TAS-Kit) provided by Randox (Ardmore, UK). This assay is based on the samples’ antioxidants ability to react with a specie of free radicals especially generated.
