Hi Por!
You talk nicely and pretty about marriage and it sounds good.
Marriage settlement is an agreement of how the property that they own when new marriage is made IF they in some reason later get divorce. Usually couple agree that all they have when they marry stay with them in divorce. Otherwise all is split to for both evenly even the only other have had something property before marriage. That how it goes in here Finland - that reason you might be ask to do settlement of the marriage when you get married to.
How do you think that?
When married both have duty to maintain each others and the family they have. That's called equality of women and men in here!!
Young couples are not usually make any agreements if they are not from rich families.
Then other issue is a how the parents are expecting the children to support them. In Finland it's government and pensions that take care of the parents and elderly people not they kids.
Many not often remember that marriage is a agreement that have strict laws to protect both parties.
Often I have hear that finance issues have become trouble couples that have different backgrounds.
Have a nice day today - it's really early morning there soon.
