I was too surprised to say anything for a couple of seconds. “You don’t have to talk to me, I know I’m disgusting. Thank you for being my friend though I was a total b*tch. Goodbye Neymar” she said. “Are you okay?” I finally managed to ask. “Yes, don’t worry about me” she said. I was about to say something, but she ended the call all of sudden. I called her back, but she didn’t pick up. My gut feeling told me that she was about to do something stupid, so I grabbed my car keys and rushed out of my house. I knew in which hotel she stayed and I truly hoped that she hadn’t switched hotels. I arrived at the hotel 15 minutes later. I took the lift up to her floor and ran through the corridor. I stopped at her door and knocked on it loudly. I heard no sound on the other end of the door. After waiting patiently for over a minute, I tried to open the door and realized that it was unlocked. I stormed into the room and looked through each room. “Thais?” I yelled and then I saw her in the bedroom. “Ney…Neymar?” she grunted, weakly. I held my heart in total shock when I saw the blood-drenched bedsheets. “THAIS!” I yelled in total panic. I grabbed her wrist and saw the huge gash on it. It was bleeding badly. “Thais?!” I yelled as she lost her consciousness. I called the ambulance immediately and got instructions on how to stop the bleeding. I was in total shock and panic, but I had to keep calm to save her life. I wrapped a few clean scarfs around her wrist to stop the bleeding. I tapped her cheeks, but she was unconscious and didn’t wake up. I heard something vibrate and realized that it was her phone. I grabbed it and saw that Marc was calling her. I picked up. “Thais I'm sorry for yelling at you. I lost it” he said. I wanted to say something, but I heard the ambulance arrive so I ended the call. The EMT’s rushed inside the hotel room with a stretcher a minute later. Everything after that was kind of a blur, because I was in shock. “Sir you have to wait here” a nurse said and stopped me from entering the emergency room with them.
