Abstract—This thesis implements a GPRS communication system
based on embedded systems and wireless communication
technology. In terms of hardware, the system uses S3C2410X as
the main chip, and uses the SIM300-GPRS module. The
operating system is Linux. So we can achieve PC communicate
with the embedded platform through the local net, and it can
control the GPRS wireless communication module which is on
the embedded platform, through the GPRS network to communicate
with the phone for basic voice communications, and
additional text messages and other services. The function
modules mainly include the control module with the friendly
interface on PC, communication module for pc and the ARM
platform, GPRS communications and control module three parts.
