Located in the busy street of Surawong Road which is in the Silom/Sathorn area famous for its shopping and nightlife. Airport pick-up for 1500 THB (47 USD) from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The hotel building has a colorful façade at night and the entrance to the hotel is beside a Japanese restaurant. At the ground level entrance, it was just a concierge or security guard desk and you have to take the elevator to go to the reception located in the 5th level. The other floors of the hotel requires a key card which is a good security feature since anyone can just use the elevator specially if the guards is not in its desk. Lobby was small but cozy and has this contemporary vibe to its interior. The room was spacious with a classic and minimal design but it exudes a glamorous theme because of the color tone and wall paper. The bed was queen size and has one of the most comfortable linens and duvet; also the pillows are amazing. Lighting was dramatic and the windows gives a better light during day time. And the surprisingly one of the feature of the room was the bathroom specially the shower area. It was just a clear glass wall/divider, making it a see-through while showering. Perfect for couples, it gives a kinky vibe to the room. It has a over-head rain shower, and the heating system was reliable enough for hot water.
Breakfast was served the hotel café in the 4th level, and it has limited variety. Cereal and oatmeal section was there together with bread and 2 set of pastry. Also there are vegetable dish, fried rice and the ham and chicken sausage as the main dishes. Also miso soup and plain rice are popular for the Japanese guest with several tropical fruits and limited salad bar to wrap-up the variety of breakfast. Espresso machine is there for coffee, several tea choices and fruit juices for the beverage. Decent yet very limited and will eventually be boring if your staying here long.
The WIFI was not consistent specially at night. Also don't expect much on the hotel in term of amenities since there is no pool or gym; the hotel café serves decent food but I suggest to try the restaurant in the area. Though overall service was good, there's nothing special to be remember in our stay except for the nice comfortable bed and nice chic room. Still a new hotel, and maintenance will be a challenge so for now I would still recommend this since its very close to Bangkok wild nightlife.
