The father and widow of Jakkrit Panichpatikum were ordered by the provincial court yesterday to jointly manage the inheritance left by the murdered national sports shooter. The father immediately said he would appeal. The assets were accumulated by Jakkrit and his wife, the judge said. Jakkrit and Dr Nithiwadee lived as husband and wife but the couple did not sign a marriage certificate. The judge said his wife was eligible to be an inheritance administrator because she had a son and daughter with him. Dr. Nithiwadee was charged with the murder but the judge said she is considered to be innocent until the court case ends.
