Biomass was
collected from a winery wastewater treatment plant (3000-4000
mg/L of volatile suspended solids). The bacteria oxygen uptake
rate (OUR), which corresponds to the slope of the regression
line of the oxygen decay along time, was measured when a
totally biodegradable compound was fed (acetic acid,
OURacetic acid I) and in the presence of the effluent (OURsample),
leading to the sample biodegradability calculated
