MRI Cervical Spine
History: A 15-year-old male with history of left arm injury last 10 years with neck pain
and weakness of right hand and right deltoid with hyperreflexia.
TECHNIQUE:
Sagittal: SE T1W , FSE T2W , STIR T2W
Axial: SE T1W , GRE T2*W
Coronal: STIR T2W
FINDINGS: The study reveals decrease lordotic curve of the cervical spine. Normal
alignment without spondylolisthesis is noted.
Mid disc bluging at C5-6 and C6-7 levels without spinal canal stenosis or neural foramen narrowing is noted
The other disc levels are unremarkable with adequate spinal canal. epidural space and paravertebral space are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord and cervicomedullary junction is normal size and signal intensity.
IMPRESSION:
- Mid disc blug at C5-6 and C6- levels without spinal cannal stenosis or neural foramen narrowing
- Normal size and signal intensity of the cervical spinal cord and cervicomedullary junction
