This study revealed that during early spring in Ulaanbaatar,Mongolia, nearly 99% of reproductive age women had serum 25(OH)D levels considered deficient (here defined as <20 ng/ml),and the remaining 1% with levels considered inadequate (20 to<30 ng/ml) for bone and overall health.
