Tonight, we received the goods from the port.
We found the leakage in the container caused the wet cartons and goods.

Fortunately, our goods are PVC rain boots. There is no damage to the goods.
But we need to clean all wet rain boots and change their package.
There are 65 cartons got wet. (12 pairs per carton, totally 780 pairs)
And they get dirt and stinky from fermented paper in dirty water.
(My company paid for insurance, container fee and cleaning and charges from agents, etc.)
We estimate to use 2 workers to clean all of them in 2 days.
And we need to repack all of them again.
Total cost of labor and packing are about USD 180.
- New carton boxes = 65 x 0.60 USD = 39 USD
- 2 workers x 2 days = 13 USD/day/ person = 52 USD
- Poly bag 780 pcs = 780 x 0.06 USD = 46.8 USD
- Detergent, water, facilities = 42 USD
