The excellent advice and guidance given are justification enough for this book, but for me it was illustration of numerous personal examples from Alastair's interesting life which makes this book stand out from others. The self reflection, examination of personal beliefs and description of his journey to understanding and challenging the norm are enthralling and strikes a chord with me as someone who is considering my life priorities.
I read this book from cover to cover and will cherry-pick chapters to read again. A nice thing about this book is that you could do that from the outset if you wanted. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the other volume(s?) that are in the pipeline in the future.
