3.1 The process package
The process package (center in Figure 2) is directly related to the work space from the 3 spaces. The link to the domain package (see Section 3.2) results from the presumption,that information available for support of work-integrated learning is stored within the organisational memory. The relationship is modelled by the associations between the elements Task and Resource within the process package. A task is an activity a user performs. Resources are equivalent to elements of type Artefact from the domain package, which serves to model knowledge artefacts from the organ izational memory. The link to the competency package (see below for a more detailed description) is provided by the relation between the elements Task and Role, where a role is incorporated by a number of actors. An Actor is equivalent to an element of the type User, which is modelled within the competency package.
