experiments have revealed that cyanobacterial glycogen
synthesis is regulated by adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-glucose
pyrophosphorylase (AGPase) activity, which is enhanced
by 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PG) accumulation and
inhibited by inorganic phosphorus accumulation [27].
