Diarrhea (enteritis) is not a disease itself but rather a symptom which was recorded in 191 pet dogs. Clinically,
it is characterized by passing of unformed, frequent and increased volume of stool. There are many causes of
diarrhea which includes abnormal eating, sudden change in diet, food allergies, parasitic infestation, bacterial and
viral infectious agents. Enteritis symptoms in dogs also include abdominal muscle cramps, fever, vomiting,
