Acknowledging forests as the primary source of wood, with all materials, products and objects deriving from them leading to their depleting presence on the planet. By tracing the omnipresence of wood in our lives, we are reminded of our dependence on forests. Ranging from small to global scales, the collective result explains the cyclical shrinking and expansion of this natural resource. This exercise will identify their role in emerging markets, construction of identities and innovative experimentation in the realms of architecture and design.
