The common theme in all four approaches is the need for job analysis to becomemore proactive and strategically oriented to suit the emerging organizational needs catalyzed by a turbulent business environment. While many questions remain unanswered, such as the validity and reliability of the strategic job analysis (Dierdorff & Wilson, 2005; Prien et al., 2003), many of the timely issues raised can help in the development of a framework for strategic job analysis.
