Examinations following a suspected or actual laser induced injury:
- conducted as soon as practical (within 48 hours)
- appropriate information shall be made available to the medical professional (e.g. exposure wavelength, emission characteristics, and exposure time/conditions).
Medical Surveillance:
- risk assessments to determine if medical surveillance is required (i.e. personnel who are likely or known to be at risk from laser radiation).
