If this incident had happened in Europe or here in the US, that guard would have been locked up right away and he would have been summarily dismissed from his position. This behavior from one of our employees is totally unacceptable, should never be tolerated and must result in immediate dismissal. A security detail is there to generate a feeling of safety and protection - and when that security detail goes rogue he must be thrown out on the spot. Fortunately Frank was not harmed.
Our manager, Mr. Udomsak may have his own reasons for not letting this person go, but we do not care what those reasons may be. As someone who is a member of the owner's Committee I look upon this incident as a serious violation of the trust in our employees - in addition to the fact that he has committed a crime by attacking one of our residents with a lethal weapon. So, I have urged the members of the Committee to override Mr. Udomsak and to get rid of this security guard immediately.
