Stroop Color‑Word Test
Participants were required to name the black words (Part 1), the color blocks (Part 2), words of Part 1 with color of Part 2 (Part 3), and the color of the same colorful words as those in Part 3 (Part 4) as quickly and correctly as possible. We used the meaning interference completion time (the time taken to complete Part 4 − the time needed to complete Part 2) as a
proxy for inhibition function. A longer meaning interference completion time indicates poorer inhibition function.
