In the 1990s, smart home was mentioned for the first
time. Along with the development of society, many
organizations and companies have designed some
intelligent building based on IoT. Such as MavHome [1],
GatorTech Smart Home and Computer Vision [2] and so
on. Although there are a variety of designs about smart
home one after another, intelligent interaction between
users and computer is not so much [3].
There are three theories supporting the emotional virtual
interaction, which are: affective computing, Kansei
engineering, and artificial psychology [4]. Affective
computing was pointed out by Professor Picard R in 1995.
Nagamachi, who is Japanese, put forward a new product
with orientation of consumer, which is known as Kansei
engineering. Professor Wang Zhi-liang was the first one to
mention the concept of artificial psychology [5]. The
theory means that artificial intelligence will develop in the
direction of a more crosswise and longitudinal way. At present, it focuses on emotional and cognitive abilities
through deep exploration in some involved areas, and has
made lots of progress in China. Based on the theories,
emotional human-computer interactive system can be
designed. The system can achieve many functions such as
the reminders, financial analysis, internet links and
sentiment analysis on chatting.
