Based on the observations during the data collection process andthe findings from the above analyses, some limitations of the studywere identified. A series of recommendations, which can help over-come these limitations and are conducive to reducing the carbonfootprints of the hotels, are described in the following.For Hotel A, data of transport services provided for the hotelguests from November to March and business travels of the hotelstaff in November and December were not available. For Hotel B,similarly, record data of transport services provided for the hotelguests in November were missing. Same for the three hotels, inven-tory levels of paper at the beginning and the end of the reportingperiod were not recorded. Although the expected amounts of GHGemissions associated with these outstanding data are negligible ascompared to the dominant emissions due to electricity and gas con-sumptions (Table 3), complete records of such data should be keptin proper order.
