This study aims to synthesize electrochemically PANI films on
thin zinc–cobalt plated carbon steel in sodium tartrate (NaTart)
medium, which would enable the passivation of the carbon steel
surface. The corrosion performance of zinc–cobalt plated carbon
steel substrate with and without PANI coating was investigated
in 3.5% NaCl and compared with the AC impedance diagrams and
anodic polarization curves.
