2. Experimental procedure
The material used in this study was CuW70 alloy. The surface nano-crystallization of W-Cu alloy was obtained by using Kinetic-3000 supersonic particle bombardment system (SFPB). The working pressure was 0.5 MPa and shot peening time was 15 min, 30 min and 60 min, respectively. JSM-6700 scanning electron microscope (SEM) was employed
to observe the structure of treated surface along the vertical section and the cross section. The microstructure features of the nanostructure layer were observed by using JEM-3010 transmission electron microscope (TEM), which sample preparations were corresponding to scanning. X-ray diffraction (XRD) of the surface layer in the SFPB-treated samples were carried out on RINT2200/PC X-ray diffractometer.
